Occupational health and safety has been revitalized with a uniform standard that is valid worldwide: On March 12th, 2018, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) published a new standard, the ISO 45001. On this date, a three year transition period was put in place for companies, during which they are expected to transition from OHSAS 18001 to ISO 45001.
