Two heads are better than one

When you’re managing the EHSQ for your entire organisation or facility, you can’t be everywhere at once. Despite the fact that NordSafety allows you to undertake much of your reporting and risk assessing on the go, it’s unlikely that you’ll be able to spot every potential hazard and avert every mishap singlehandedly.

It’s time to get more eyes and ears joining your disaster prevention team. If you could enable the public, whether they be guest visitors or on-site employees, to make you aware of their own findings, as and when things happen, you’d have a wealth of new data and more chances than ever before to make your site safer.

And now you can. As part of its mobile EHSQ solution, NordSafety offers a public reporting tool. Third parties will be able to notify you of any potential dangers, maintenance issues and near misses in a variety of ways.

Increased safety at your fingertips. And theirs.

Conveniently, visitors and personnel don’t even need to login in or have admin access when they find something amiss. You can provide them with the capability to make a report by distributing a link with NFC-tags, through QR-codes, or redirects from your intranet or public sub-domain. Now anyone can inform you of the things you need to be aware of by submitting their observations and photographs as and when things are noticed, by those who are most likely to notice them.

The view from the ground.

Encouraging your employees to be the eyes and ears on the ground will increase their engagement with health and safety, and make for a more alert workforce. Knowing that they are sharing responsibility for keeping their environment safe and looking after the welfare of themselves and their colleagues will prompt staff to be especially vigilant. Employees and crew members are after all, those who are most likely to spot when something is not as it should be within the familiarity of their working surroundings, and so recruiting them for public reporting is essential in getting a ground level view of what’s really happening on-site.

Managing EHSQ is better, together.

Want to collect more near-miss data? Need to speed up the preventative action taken around site? The NordSafety public reporting feature broadens your scope for observation and improves the overall safety of your working areas, giving you the best possible hope of preventing accidents, and resolving issues as soon as they arise.

Two heads are certainly better than one. But two hundred would be even better.

Reduce the likelihood of negative incidents with public reporting from NordSafety.

Taking your EHSQ management digital with NordSafety, and the use of its public reporting feature, creates a more engaged workforce, improves auditing and reports, and increases safety awareness throughout your facility.
